Pours a copper color, small head but GREAT lacing. Aroma is a great balance of sweet malts and citrusy hops. Flavor is pretty typical of the style, with hops dominating but not unusually so. Decent balance is acheived in the later part of the flavor, and ends fairly sweet with a hop snap. Not bad at all, though pretty typical Pale. A little more APA than EPA. I like Big Sky Scape Goat Pale Ale better and Cutthroat Porter is way better than this. Falconseye8 (525), Cartersville, Georgia, USA

Very drinkable. Great hotweather beer like weather I'm experiencing here today. Never had this glad I tried it. whaleman (2171), North Wales, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Apr 1, 2004 Deep golden body and pillowy white head. Well-carbonated body. Lightly toasted malt and woody hop aroma. Initially subtle English hops gradually become more assertive. Has a nice woody bitter quality that I like and malty fullness on the palate.

I will drink it in Colorado but will not ask for it to be shipped to me. MaxPower (961), St. Louis, Missouri, USA

This is an English style pale ale, very mild and very drinkable, great for the style.

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jan 16, 2004 Copper brew with a dense dollop of foam.Moldy bread aroma that thankfully does not carry over in to the taste. Flavor is nicely balanced between the chewy malts and a herbal hop bite. Medium light body that is full and refreshing.A little pepperyspice in the finish.
