Poured from a nitro faucet @ the brewery. Rich chocolate and vanilla with roasty aromas. Pours dark brown with a dense tan head. A little thin on the palate but good flavor. Good roasty flavors with some chocolate. A little lacking but good.

Cloudy dark brown pour with a medium beige head. Good aroma of smoked malt and chocolate. The flavor is disapointingly average, the smoked malt and chocolate are there but feel weak. The body is light with soft carbonation.

Pours black with a huge, creamy, pitted, tan head that leaves patchy lacing as it descends. Very nice nose of chocolate, coffee, dark roasted malt, and molasses. Medium-bodied and slick with a dry, bitter, roasted finish. The flavor is dark roasted malt and molasses followed by coffee and light chocolate, almost the exact inverse of the nose. A tasty, well-made porter.

Aroma of smoke, port, roasted malt. Moderately hopped, roasted malts with licorice, molasses, coffee. Lingering finish with srpuce, earth and fig.

Dark brown. Nose of coffee and nuts. Smoky and roasty, but again thin, a persistent problem. Some hops at the end.

12oz, no date. Deep brown with a small beige head that lasts a good twenty seconds before settling to a ring around my glass. Milk chocolate and brown sugar are up front in the nose, and everpresent roasted malts and grain try to balance out the sweetness. Flavor is more roasty and ashy than I figured it would have been, and only hints of pine resiny hops show up towards the finish. Minimal brown sugar sweetness, but I still did get a hint of the milk chocolate. Lightly ashy dry finish, minimal bitterness. Low to moderate carbonation with a medium body.

12 oz bottle thanks to Padrefan98. Deep dark pour with decent tan head. Nice aromas of chocolate and roatsy malts. Flavors fell off a bit with just touches of chocolate and some burnt malt bitterness. I was hoping for more.

"I like porters. I really, really liked this one. Smell and taste is of roasted malts, some chocolate and coffee. The flavor is strong, touch of bitterness and decent carbonation. Not too heavy, so drinking a few is no problem. Very smooth from start to finish."
