Poured a dark ebony with ruby highlights and a nice firm coffee colored head. The nose was of bitter cocoa, chocolate, espresso and wallnut. The tatse started with dark chocolate, coffee bean and had hints of cinnamon and dark fruits. The end brings a return of the roasted chocolate malts which brings a nice bitter/sweet, rich flavor. The finish was coffee bitter with creamy cocoa. The feel was medium to full. A solid and well done porter that would make a great session beer anytime.

Looks beautiful, smell beautiful, coffee, chocolate, malt, roasting love, tastes great, better than most porters, dark and rich - the best porter in Colorado. In winter, it’s in the top 5.

Beer pours dark brown with a minimally retained tan colored head. Aroma is very nice with big malty roastiness and coffee. Flavor is quite nutty with some smoke and a really nice hoppy dry finish. I was in the mood for a dark beer and this beer fit the beer quite nicely. Enjoyable!

Pours a dark brown with a tan head that lasted, and left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma was strong of coffee and chocolate. Taste was also chocolate followed up by a nice roasted coffee finish that lingered. A bit thin, but good nonetheless.

Pours a dark brown or black with a small tan ehad. Aroma was some rich chocolate maltiness. Pretty smooth flavor but not all that special.

Purchased a mixed 6 pack in Cody Wyoming. No glass...sigh! Smells and tasted of lightly roasted chocolate. Low abv was a turn-off at first but It surprised me with some decent flavors.

This is definitely one of the better Odell beers I’ve had. Pours dark brown with a crimson hue and a good sized deep tan head. The aroma has milk chocolate, vanilla, smooth roasted malt and lots of creaminess. Medium / light body that starts out smooth and ends sharp with prickly carbonation. The flavor begins with roasted bitter chocolate malt and notes of coffee. The finish has a thin body and hots of bitterness that seems to come from the roasted malt, not the hops. Overall an enjoyable beer.
