Pours a dark cola brown. Aroma of molasses and coffee. Initial taste is of toasted malt and molasses with a slight coffee finish. Smooth drinking, not too heavy.

The hoppiest porter I’ve had. Lots of flavor in there but not quite as much as Boulevard’s bully. Drinkable for sure but probably wouldn’t buy again.

Good flavor but swear there is a fishy taste it has a good body and apearance. It maybe due to the fish on the label its all mental.

Bottle. Moderate toasted and strong coffee aromas for the malt, light resin and earth for the hops and yeast, with hints of brown sugar and milk. Head is large, rocky, off-white with excellent lacing and is mostly lasting. Color is clear dark brown. Flavor starts lightly sweet and acidic, then finishes lightly bittersweet and acidic. Palate is medium, watery but a little creamy, and has a carbonation between soft and lively. Better than I expected, this Porter has everything you’d expect from the style.

Bottle (12oz) shared with HogTownHarry & garthicus -- c/o swoopjones. Pours a deep reddish-brown with a large creamy tan head. Nice aroma: Quite roasty (roasted coffee and roasted malt -- oh so roasty!) along with a good amount of hops, dark bitter chocolate and nuts. Flavour of roasted malt along with notes of chocolate, nuts and coffee -- very easy to drink. Medium bodied, creamy mouthfeel. A very good Porter!
