Oct 2, 2005 [Bottled at Stockholm Beer Festival 2005] A dark brown beer with a thin light brown head. The aroma is sweet and very roasted combined with notes of chocolate. The flavor is very sweet and very roasted with notes of coffee, chocolate, and wood. A super beer - I’m impressed that a 4.5% ABV beer can taste of this much.

Sep 28, 2008 (Bottle 35,5 cl) Clear dark brown with a reddish hue and a creamy light brown head. Fairly roasted coffeeish aroma. Medium body with sweetish hard roasted malts and again coffee. Lightly malt bitter finish. Again a very well crafted beer from Odell. 200908

Oct 2, 2005 Updated: Oct 4, 2005Bottled. Near black. Rich aroma of licorice and aniseed. Earthy and dryish, wonderfully concentrated flavours of coffee, juice and dark chocolate. The soft mouthfeel makes all the flavours melt on the tongue. All this is accomplished despite the low gravity, making it a very drinkable beer. Possibly my favourite on Stockholm Beer Festival 2005!

Clear medium to dark black color with a large, frothy - creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, burnt, chocolate. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet, light aidic notes and moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (060808)

Feb 27, 2009 Murky light brown. Fairly nutty, cocoa-ish aroma with light fudge. Fairly light and watery on the palate with nuttiness and toast. Fairly straightforward stuff.

Aug 6, 2008 Dark brown with mlarge beige head. Sweet aroma with roasted malt, coffee and chocolate notes. Sweet flavor with roasted malt, caramel, chocolate and coffee. Ends dry. Lovely.
