Commercial Description:
Double Pilsner is our tribute to the pilsner style, heavily hopped but balanced with malt and refined on our 5-barrel system. Originally brewed in Bohemia, pilsners were the world's first clear golden lagers and the start of a dramatic revolution in brewing. Today, pilsners are still a revered part of Czech and German life and an inspiration to our brewers.

Bottle shared by Crosling, thanks Nick. Poured a clear golden color with a decent white head that faded to a ring. Aroma of pilsner malt and grainy corn. Lightly tart entry leads into a moderate sweet maltiness with hints of honey and some light hop bitterness. Decent mouthfeel. Meh.

12oz bottle. Clear yellow with a white head. Stenchy, sweaty fusel corn and lemon scented nail polish nose. Harsh corn and lemon flavor, astringent, rough, heavy on the palate, thick and syrupy when it doesn’t need to be. Overdone.

Not a lot aroma. A decent enough beer, but it’s not great. Flavor isn’t overly alcoholic, which is good. Just doesn’t have that nice crispness that I like.

Bottled: Good sweet, crisp beer with a nice bite. Pours a gold color with white lacing. Smells sweet and of citrus. Tastes malty with a bitter sweet finish. Good beer!

Bottle, from somewhere out west. Pours a clear gold. Aroma is grassy and hoppy. Strong bite bitter dry, not bad finish. Can’t tell its 8.1% pretty cool beer!
