Had this beer for the first time summer of 2006 in Denver, made the trip to the brewery the next day. Returned from Co with 2 cases (can’t get this beer in arkansas.)
Pours a cloudy yellow with a thin white head. Aroma of cloves, citrus and light banana. The taste of spices, yeast and citrus are present and blended together so that nothing is overpowering, and I always get a hint of banana right at the end. Smooth, with a light body, and a sweet finish make this an A list beer in my book. Overall it is a great summer beer for me, but doesn’t satisfy my cravings for a Schneider or Franziskaner. An unclear orange beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma is sweet with light notes of wheat and citrus - and so is the flavor - I can’t find any traces of banana. The body is watery. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 3, 2007 Pours a hazy light gold with a sizable, fluffy, white head that last for quite a while. The aroma is of lightly sour bread dough and faint citrus. The yeast is a bigger player here than in many American wheats. Light-bodied with a soft graininess to the mouthfeel, it concludes with a quick clean finish. Sour dough bready malt and light citrus with a sweet backing and a clean, yeasty finish. I rather like this one, and after trying six of their brews, I’m quickly becoming a fan of Odell Brewing. grimreeser (797), Minnesota, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Aug 29, 2007 Poured a Lightly hazed, bright yellow amber color with a pillowy white firm head. The nose was of bread dough and citrus zest. The flavor started with toasted wheat with a moderate hop bite. The end was on the moderatly sweet side. The finish was lightly dry and crisp. The feel was medium with an average amount of effervescence. A pretty good American Wheat Beer.
