Citrusy hop nose but still has some spicy characteristics. Easy on the palate with some spicy hops giving fuel to light cereal grain maltiness. Very smooth, but far from being the perfect summer beer the descriptions labels it as. stchloe (491), Portland, Oregon, USA

Mostly grassey and wheaty notes with a light maltiness. Flavor is the same. Rather boring, but unobtrusive. lb4lb (2011), Austin, Texas, USA

Pours a gorgeous glowing, cloudy, thick bright orange color with a smallish white head and light lacing. Smell is very wheaty, slightly fruity and appealing. Taste is refreshing and very wheaty with a strong lingering wheat finish. Lightly tart in the middle with a hint of lemony brightness and a touch of yeastiness without much in the way of clove or spicing, which I really liked about it. Mouthfeel is fairly light, but suitable for the style and keeps it refreshing without being too thin. Drinkability is very good, and this is a very nice thirst quenching summer beer. I enjoyed it. sketchmind (17), Omaha, Nebraska, USA

Had some good lacing with good retention. Wheat aroma, some lemon, biscuit. Taste was much the same I liked the small lemon zing, some yeast, solid wheat flavor. Enjoyable, finishes clean. Refreshing. Great for a summer day kicking back.
A very solid wheat beer. FlyingSwine (170), Littleton, Colorado, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jun 20, 2008 Pours a cloudy gold, with a decent white head. Decent amount of lacing. Light wheat aroma, with a bit of biscuit. Flavor is straight forward, and typical of a wheat ale, with a slight tang of grapefruit. Palate is good, starts with a bit of a fizzy spritz, and ends smooth with no lingering aftertaste. Overall a very refreshing wheat ale, perfect for hot afternoons. Nose is of sweet bread (as opposed to sweetbreads) and mild citrus. Taste is also of citrus and bread, with a malt undertone thrown in. Nice smooth mouthfeel. No aftertaste to speak of.
