May 8, 2006 On tap at their tasting room. Awesome espresso aroma; love it. Dark brown. Solid sweet porter with just enough espresso tatse. Love the aroma on this one, the taste is ok.

Body is dark brown.
Aroma is moderately malty (roasted grain, nuts, caramel, coffee), with notes of ash and charcoal.
Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter.
Finish is lightly sweet, moderately acidic, moderately bitter.
Light to medium body, watery texture, soft carbonation.
A bit tart and light, but sports a very pleasant and enticing aroma.
