Pours clear rust-brown with a lasting three-finger beige head, very good lacing. Aromas of grapefruit, herbs, pine resin, earth, and toast. Full body, smooth and zesty, lightly dry. Very herbal hop flavors, citrus, grape, plum, and toast. A huge beer, with satisfyingly chewy malt sweetness, balanced by a ton of hops. Mild dry and bitter finish.

750ML Bottle. Fruity citrus and floral notes of an IIPA hit the nose and kinda wonder. Orange body with off white head. Cool and crisp citrus hop bomb to start with. Secnd glass had more of the sweet chewy malt bread notes. Sweet citrus and an heavy forehead after this one. Good mix and enjoyable brew on the palate the Palestong peeeps would all enjoy.

A Mes rate. Bottle at Borefts 10am day after hotel tasting.
Amber / orange colour with a thin off white head. Awesome hops in the aroma but some awful wet dog notes in the background hold it back. Thankfully the wet dog does not appear in the flavour. Sadly the canine is replaced by some very astringent medicinal notes. The hop flavours are still excellent, it’s just too harsh for me to really enjoy it. Worth a drink though.

750mL bottle poured into a tulip. The cork popped loudly on this one and after a calm first pour, the beer just started to pour out of the bottle and a minute or so. The initial pour was fairly clear amber with a huge fluffy white head, but the second pour was a super murky light amber with a much smaller head. The most noticeable aspect of the aroma is the hefty citrus hop profile, with oranges and pineapples filling the nose. The malt sweetness is fairly light in the nose and almost bready with less caramel malt and certainly less sugar and toffee than I was expecting. The taste is more of the same though the citrus hops give way a little quicker to a more substantial caramel malt backbone with some sugary fruits and a slightly bitter, citrus hop finish. The mouthfeel is slick with soft carbonation and very sticky with hops. It’s probably a little bit lighter feel than I would like ideally, but it’s not watery. This a hoppy barleywine that is fairly green right now with lots of hops and a modest malt balance, and overall I think this one will be even better with some age on it. Tastes closer to a DIPA right now.

This is a good beer but WTF man. I needed a pair of vice grips and a wine rabit to get the fxn cork out. Not to mention only after I realined my teeth, on both sides. This is a double IPA with no sign of BW in sight. Good strength of flavor, hop, malt, aroma but very IPA. I don’t believe in naming your beer "whatever". Your beer is a style not a marketing ploy. This is a damn good DIPA though. Big effers, big hop component, balanced. Seriously, I laughed my ass off at how much effort I used to get this freakin cork out. The cork is in three pieces. Definitely a unique experience.

(Draught) Pours a clear golden body with a medium cream head. Aroma of grass, caramel, orange, apricot, and pine. Flavor of hops (juicy citrus, pine, grass), caramel malt, and earth with a dry, bitter finish.

750 ml bottle. Pours a clear copper with a large beige head that lasts till the beer is gone. Towards the bottom it is a murky brown with a thin head that lasts. Taste is of pine, hops, citrus, resin, malt and some caramel. Similar aroma. The body is a little thin and oily. The alcohol is hidden well. Easy to drink and pretty enjoyable. Worth getting again.

Bottle. Pours hazy copper with a large, frothy off-white head, lasting with good lacing. Aroma is sweet candied hops that give way to caramel malt, perfume hops, and an alcohol nose. Fig, plum, peach, and date notes. Lightly sweaty hops and yeast at the end. Green, spicy hop flavor with an alcohol warmness, malty, chewy hops with a fruit character. Full bodied, dry finish, sweet, acidic, and spicy.
