Jan 7, 2009 Poured a brilliant and clean dark yellow, light amber with little head but the carbonation was good and left lacing. The aroma was strongly grapefruit hops with little malt. There was a strong citrus flavor, particularly grapefruit along with some pine notes at first, the bitterness is right up front and dominant. As the beer warms the bitterness mellows and the beer really mellows out and blends into a nicely balanced drink. Good job.

Jan 6, 2009 Bottle. Brilliantly clear with a nice steady thick white head. Really nice looking light copper with slow-rising carbonation. Aroma of American hops, light pine and big citrus. Flavor is clean with understated bitterness and good flavor. Highly balanced with a good creaminess and some light carbonation on the tongue. Very easy-drinking, really nice IPA.

Jan 4, 2009 12 oz bottle. Tons of fresh cedar in the aroma. Spicy and fresh. Pours a clear medium amber with a fluffy head. Prickly near the back of the tongue, pleantantly bitter, a powerful hop presence gives way, a little shorter and drier than some west coast brethren, but very sharp and clean. Oranges and grass make themselves known. Very good. Thanks Malcom!

Dec 21, 2008 Bottle. Pours an amber color with a decent beige head. Taste is of pine, hops, some caramel and citrus. Aroma is much the same. For the price this is a pretty good beer.

Dec 15, 2008 Bottle. Pours a copper, orange color. Has a little white head. Smell is hops, grass, and pine. Very well balanced. Perfect hop aftertaste. A great IPA.

Dec 15, 2008 Bottle, thanks to acrdz. Clear amber with a white head. Nice grassy hay hoppy aroma. Medium body. Great hop flavors of grass and grapefruit on a sweet caramel malt base. Very easy drinking ipa.
