Awsome minty pine aroma with a touch of fruit (banana maybe). Very mild fruity hoppyness. Light amber in color. Overall, this is a damn good IPA. Dmalone102 (221), Denver, Colorado, USA
| 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 19/20 | Sep 25, 2008 I love this beer. I am becoming quite a hop head, but this is a very balanced beer. It is strong, but so drinkable. It is on the pricey side, but so worth it. kosko20 (323), Bemidji, Minnesota, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 15/20 | Sep 25, 2008 Pour is a light, golden copper with a thick white head that fades to lacing. A beautiful floral hop aroma. Also some fruity aromas that blend nicely. A strange flavor...fruity with floral hops. Has a malty balancer. Palate is bitter but has a smooth, creaminess and a medium body. A very decent IPA. sloth (1684), Ceciltucky, Co., Maryland, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Sep 24, 2008 Medium sized beige head with fair retention and a surprising amount of sticky patchy lace. Lightly hazy gold colored ale. Nose, lightly citrusy and piney with some light malt notes. Body is medium, lightly oily and resiny, soft carbonation. Decent fruity flavors, some apricot and peach along with notes of citrusy hops and a mild graininess backing them up. Lightly sweet caramelly notes, dried fruits and an understated hop bitterness that seems to work well with this brew. Decent IPA i,d say. Props to beersandblues2 for the bottle.
