| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 16, 2008 Bottle pours golden with a white head. Smells of citrus hops permeate around the glass. Has a medium light mouthfeel that stings with carbonation. Flavors of citrus hops abound with a slight caramel sweetness in the background. Overall this is a real nice IPA. American style at its best and really captures the hop flavor real nice. CanIHave4Beers (906), Des Moines, Iowa, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Aug 14, 2008 Aroma is very nice, like fresh hops, a little citrusy. A small head sticks around and leaves a nice lace. The beer is clear with an light golden color. The taste is very pleasant and well balanced for an IPA, don’t get me wrong this is hoppy, and has a great bitter flavor, but there is a good malty sweetness in there as well producing a nice fruity balance. Different and good. StFun (534), Indiana, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Aug 12, 2008 Updated: Jan 8, 2009Big thanks to BFC for sending this beer to me. Jake said it was a good session IPA, and that is exactly what this one is. In fact, it might really be one of the best session IPA I’ve had, and probably second only to Two Hearted. A big bold hop presence, but lots of malt and caramel to balance things out. Nice mix of floral and bitter hops. Neither one takes control, and they both compliment each other greatly. Not overpowering, but not watery either. And, at 7%, it is perfect for drinking an entire 6er! I was really glad to have tried this. Thanks Jake!! Nephilium (556), Ohio, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Aug 12, 2008 Nice strong grapefruit aroma when this bottle was opened. Pours a slightly hazy darker amber, with just a thin cap of white head. This is really a hop bomb. Strong grapefruit hops with just a hint of caramel malts lurking in the background. Nice long finish, with just a hint of bitterness. An exceptional IPA. Ethereal (1500), London, Greater London, England

Lots of big floral hops on the nose and wonderfully fruity and hoppy in the mouth. The palate is perfect and the flavours are strong but not over the top. A very, very good IPA. You finish one and immediately desire another. BuckeyeBoy (1670), Boise, Idaho, USA

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Aug 7, 2008 Bottle. Pours a clear orange hue with a medium white head. The aroma is mostly sweet citrus hops, some grapefruit for sure. The taste is well balanced; a smooth caramel and biscuit malt, the finish is dominated by a bitter hop presence, some citrus throughout. A very nice IPA, balanced and full.
