Commercial Description:
Ready to buck convention? We took the traditional IPA, originally shipped from Englad to India in the 1700s, and made it bolder and more flavorful - American style. We've added new varieties of highly aromatic American hops to create a distinctive bitterness profile and an incredible hop character. Hop on, hold tight, and enjoy the ride!

A yellow appearance with a thin soapy white head. The aroma is lemons, perfume, and grapefruit. The flavor contains a good balance of malt and hops. A lot of lemon sticks out in the flavor. Not very aggressive for an IPA but a good beer nonetheless.

On draft at Savor in DC (5/17/08). The spruce/pine hops dominated this one for me. Some bitterness in the finish, but not much else.

Great IPA in a great bottle. A nice mix of a big west coast and and english IPA. Aroma of citrus and pine hops. Flavor is also very hoppy, citrus and pine, with malt backing. Finish is hoppy bitter. A great IPA.

Bottle: poured a hazy copper color with a huge head. Smell of citrus and pine hops. Heavy hop flavor with a citrus taste. Very strong up front but not much of the lingering aftertaste. Has an earthy flavor. Good IPA but not my favorite.

Wonderful piney nose, good IPA color. Slightly lighter in the palate than expected. Moderate bitterness. A nice IPA.

12-oz. Thanks, Skoi! This one saved the day for ipas a little bit. Cloudy orange body with some brightness to it, and a nice modest creamy white head. Dusty peach nose--not quite full-on into grapefruit territory, but that’s lurking just around the corner from here. Nice caramel underneath the mid-palate, with fairly generous peachy tang on top of that. Crisp, refreshing finish. Good stuff.

(Savor, 12oz bottle) Small off-white head atop clear light amber body. Aroma is moderately sweet, juicy grapefruit, some pineapple/pine. Taste is medium sweet, pine/grapefruit, orange/floral. Medium body, some resin.
