Cloudy orange body with some brightness to it, and a nice modest creamy white head. Dusty peach nose--not quite full-on into grapefruit territory, but that’s lurking just around the corner from here. Nice caramel underneath the mid-palate, with fairly generous peachy tang on top of that. Crisp, refreshing finish. Good stuff. argo0 (7003), Washington DC, USA

Aroma is moderately sweet, juicy grapefruit, some pineapple/pine. Taste is medium sweet, pine/grapefruit, orange/floral. Medium body, some resin. jefcon (1009), Arlington, Virginia, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | May 17, 2008 This golden orange beer has a pungent aroma of hops, even from some distance from the glass. Lots of hop aggressiveness, with plenty of floral notes, pine spice, and exotic fruit from the hops. The stuff just tastes really, really, fresh. Good weight on the tongue and a lingering finish that achieves some balance from the small amount of neutral backing malts in the beer. ¾ (5009), Boulder, Colorado, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 17, 2008 Bottle sample pours clear amber. Nose is smelly, oily, vinuous hop oil character, resinous and tangy but not altogether well-formed. Sharp mouthfeel and tangy and somewhat fruity with tobacco and tea leave and a light dose of caramel malt, but overall it’s a bit plain. Pigfoot (2226), Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA

Hazy orange appearance, fulsome, fresh white head.
Fresh, vibrant, floral aroma...lively...orange, tangerine, mango....abso-lovely.
Tastin’...more of the same. Fresh, delicious, fruit aplenty. There’s some mango in there, with the orange and grapefruit,
just gorgeous.
Very even-keeled, despite it’s 7% abv,...no, wait, maybe not....but it’s still smooth, and tasty, and memorable.
An ideal IPA. I could grab this in a pinch with nary a quarrel.

The aroma is sweet malty with notes of grass and grapefruit. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of grass and caramel, leaidng to a dry bitter finish. The body is a bit watery. jsquire (2123), St. Marys, Ohio, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | May 1, 2008 Deep golden color with a creamy off white head. Boy the nose in this beer just screamed christmas tree when I first poured it with citrus hops coming out as it warmed. Tons of hops in this beer. Candied orange peel, pine, grapefruit, some lemon peel, bread and caramel sweetness. This is a true hop head IPA.
