Thick soapy head over a clear amber color with huge lacing along the sides. Sweet green apples smell with some really decent hop aroma in there too. Bitter, hoppy and soapy in the flavor. Metallic and soapy slightly in the finish. Decent palate that isnt overly carbonated. Unique flavor and smell.

Feb 9, 2008 Updated: Apr 23, 2008Pours a brilliant orange color with a moderate amount of white, somewhat sticky head. A bit of lacing. Nice clean hop aroma. Smells of fresh citrus and grass. Tastes of sweet citrus up front and bitter on the finish. Or maybe its the opposite. Thin mouthfeel, almost too thin. Nice carbonation. Great IPA. Nothing to crazy, nice and clean, and hoppy.

Feb 5, 2008 Great beer...not what I expected. Pours a slight amber and is chock full of hops. Full body owed to the balance of dry hop flavor and malt.

Jan 25, 2008 Updated: Mar 9, 2009Poured from a bottle. Poured a hazy orange color with a soapy white head that left good lacing. Spicy, piney hops and a bit of citrus on the nose. Sweet, slightly citric entry leads into a powerful piney hop hit that mellows out in the finish with some bitterness and more citrus flavor. Biting and drying on the palate, begs for you to drink more. Good beer.

Jan 20, 2008 Light golden color with white head. Big floral hop nose with citrus as well. Taste is much more subdued than the nose, which I’m disappointed by...but still a solid beer.

Jan 13, 2008 Recenty, I’ve been eager to try this beer. A BA friend visiting San Diego and was raving about it. I think Tim might have said it was a GABF gold medal weiner. Nice hoppy aroma, but much milder than I’m used to. A small hint of skunk in the aroma. Light amber yellow color. West coast grapefruit hops. Not too bitter. Very easy to drink. Doesn’t compare to Hop15, dreadnaught, summer yulesmith, but still pretty decent session beer.

Jan 8, 2008 Bottle. Thanks to Byrdo for sharing this with me. Pours deep orange with a small white head. Smell is of strong citrus and pine oil hops. Taste has a wonderful hop blast at the beginning balanced by light biscuity malts. Palate is medium and carbonation is low enough to allow for a more coating effect than a lively effect. This is an excellent AAmerican IPA.

Jan 5, 2008 12 oz bottle at Stockholm Beer Festival 2007. Copper color with creamy head. Thick sweetish flowery and citrusy flavor with honey and some dull dry hop note also. Bittersweet and flowery-citrusy flavor with notes of salty minerals. Good basic cascade IPA.
