Commercial Description:
Ready to buck convention? We took the traditional IPA, originally shipped from Englad to India in the 1700s, and made it bolder and more flavorful - American style. We've added new varieties of highly aromatic American hops to create a distinctive bitterness profile and an incredible hop character. Hop on, hold tight, and enjoy the ride!

Pretty awesome beer here. Has enough hop aroma/flavor to be in the double category, but not quite enough alcohol. Hop aroma is more of a sweet fruit, but tons of citrus as well. Love it.

(Bottle, Stockholm Beer Festival, 22 Sep 2007) Pale amber colour with brief white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with orange, apricots and grapefruit. Fruity, hoppy taste with notes of orange peel, mandarin, grapefruit and harsh notes of citrussy hops in the finish. Balanced sweetness. Very nice hop character and not overly aggressive. Great balance.

(Bottle) Pours amber. Hoppy aroma with tones of pine, grapefruit and resin. Some more fruity tones of black currant, lychee, pineapple, apricot and strawberry jam are present. Light syrupy and light bready malt with a nice toasted touch. Hoppy flavour of pine grapefruit and light black currant. Good malty backbone. Light spicy. Medium bitter and dry. Soft and light crisp mouthfeel. Quite fruity. Lingering afterbitterness. Medium body. By far the best beer we have tried from this brewery

Poured a clear copper color with a persistent off-white head. The aroma led with some hops. Oranges, citrus, fruity hard candies and sweet malt. The flavor was sweet and malty with hops running through it. Nice and very drinkable. Light side of a medium body with a decent bitterness on the finish.
