Commercial Description:
Ready to buck convention? We took the traditional IPA, originally shipped from Englad to India in the 1700s, and made it bolder and more flavorful - American style. We've added new varieties of highly aromatic American hops to create a distinctive bitterness profile and an incredible hop character. Hop on, hold tight, and enjoy the ride!

Pours clear amber, with a medium beige head, good lacing. Very strong pine, grapefruit, and grass aroma, with some caramel underneath. Medium body, relatively dry. Lots of hop flavors stand out, mostly grapefruit but some subtle grass, pine, and faint floral notes too. There’s some solid caramel flavor tucked under the layers of hops. Fairly strong, long lasting bitter aftertaste.

Bottle pours clear gold with a small, dense white head. Aroma is very hop present, displaying notes of grapefruit, lemongrass, and slight toffee. Doughy malt flavor takes a complete backseat to the citrus and pine that show through. The overall mouthfeel is medium bodied and semi-oily. The finish is long lasting, dry and bitter. Overall, a nice IPA.

Pours with an orange-gold body topped by a thin head with some lacing. It’s slightly sweet and hoppy with a nice piney, grapefruity hoppiness and light malty undertones. Light to medium bodied and smooth with a bit of dryness.

Bottle from Sun Devil. Nice aroma of sweat and weed - those are the hops we’re dealing with. Color is brown orange with a tall firm white head. Flavor is resinous hops and dark citrus rind. Had mine warm so it wasn’t refreshing, exactly, but the craftsmanship was plain to see.

Bottle. Moderate malt aroma of roasted, heavy pine for the hops, moderate soap for the yeast, with hints of pepper and a fruity/winey note in the background. Head is large, frothy, yellowish to start, then turns to creamy white. It has excellent lacing and is fully lasting. Color is slightly hazy sparkling amber. Flavor is moderate to heavily acidic, and finishes lightly acidic, moderate to heavily bitter, and a touch sour. Palate is medium, oily, has a carbonation between soft and lively, and finishes lightly dry. A nice balance in this beer, and the characteristics you’d expect in an IPA.

Pours slightly hazy, light amber to golden color, with very generous white head. Nose is exceptionally pleasant with tropical fruit, perhaps mango, tangerine, and a grassy to black tea leafy component that makes this aroma spectacular for me. Palate is on the dry side, light to medium bodied, and starts off with a cottony dryness that proceeds through some background biscuity/bready malt to a grassy and lightly herbal hop finish. Easily one of the better everyday IPA’s, especially considering the 6 pack distribution size.
