Apr 18, 2009 This is my favorite Odell’s brew. An excellent balance of malt and hops. Full bodied and rich. This one would last the voyage across the ocean, unless it was all consumed before they got there.

Apr 18, 2009 12 oz. bottle shared by bellportbeer. Pours a clear orange-tinted gold with a linen white head. Very pleasant aroma of grapefruit. The flavor is likewise all about the hops, which is all about the grapefruit once again. I especially like that this beer has captured the fruitiness of the grapefruit and not the bitter white pith that so many other IPA’s seem to favor. Bitter at the finish, but by no means excessive. This is a thoroughly enjoyable IPA.

Apr 16, 2009 Crushed with Jakebra. Nice piney, citrusy nose. Excellent flavor as well. A sexy, full-flavored, full-bodied, just plain awesome IPA.

Thick palate, light sugary notes, light malts, not overly bitter.

Apr 8, 2009 Bottle (12oz) shared with HogTownHarry & swoopjones -- courtesy of swoopjones. Pours a hazy yellow-orange with a small diminishing creamy white head. Big-time hop aroma: Citrus and pee (in a good way) hops -- I love it, love it, love it! Flavour of resiny, citrusy hops -- wow, it tastes like it’s on draught. Nice long bitter finish. Medium bodied. Kudos to Odell’s, this is great stuff! It may be one-dimensional but who cares when it tastes this good -- again, I love it!

Apr 4, 2009 Ultra clear orange hue with whispy lacing on the head and glass. Aroma is super hops of floral and citrus with rich bread malts. Flavor of balanced malts and hops with thick chewy texture. The balance and hop presence is somewhere between a single an double IPA. Surprising malts, quite delicious.
