Commercial Description:
Ready to buck convention? We took the traditional IPA, originally shipped from Englad to India in the 1700s, and made it bolder and more flavorful - American style. We've added new varieties of highly aromatic American hops to create a distinctive bitterness profile and an incredible hop character. Hop on, hold tight, and enjoy the ride!

on tap at papago... pours a hazy pale copper color with a soft soap foam-like head. immense amounts of foam rings and webby lace is almost unreal. the aroma is very earthy... almost like wood with notes of grapefruit, leafy hops, pine and caramel maltiness. malt sweetness is a touch high for me but the level of bitterness and it’s parching qualities keep me coming back. the flavor reminds me of sweetened yellow grapefruit juice (the real thing not the canned crap)... along with a solid malt backbone, orange pith and peel and some pine-like leafy green hops. the body is medium but the carbonation is very soft which makes it really creamy on the tongue. this is a great food friendly beer that can be consumed all night! 7/4/7/4/16/3.8

Pours a slightly hazy amber color with a nice light head that dissipates down to a fine layer within a minute...The aroma is very interesting, almost smells like a sage bush. At first I was turned off, but it slowly grew on me. It has a very crisp almost woody flavor. Very unique.

Pours a clear gold/light amber with a sizeable white head. Superb aroma - absolutely love it! Definite citrus (tangerine, grapefruit) , pine and very hoppy. Taste - bitter, dry to the end. Head diminishes somewhat, but lacing strong through the finish. Fantastic IPA IMO would definitely buy again - Cheers!

Cloudy orange with a thick, white head. Citusy nose, orange peel and pine. Flavor is mildly soapy hops and yeast over malt. Tangy. Nice.

Had on tap at Barley’s Brewhaus. Pours clear golden copper with white head. Aroma is hops, pine with touch of malt and citrus. Flavor is mostly hops and pine with malt and some citrus notes. Medium mouthfeel. Finishes bitter. Decent IPA with big pine flavors.

5 Barrel Pale X2: Twice the color, twice the head, twice the lemongrass, twice the bitterness. 24 karat/copper pour with a 2 finger ivory head. Citrus zest combines with grassy, resinous, leafy hops...malt is needed to balance this one out. Just not a lot of complexity here.

Pours a nice golden color with a slight orange tinge and a foamy white head. Aroma of hops, malt, citrus. Flavor is hoppy, malty, citrusy, grassy. Nice bitter hop finish is balanced out with just enough malt. Good IPA.
