pours a hazy pale copper color with a soft soap foam-like head. immense amounts of foam rings and webby lace is almost unreal.
the aroma is very earthy... almost like wood with notes of grapefruit, leafy hops, pine and caramel maltiness.
malt sweetness is a touch high for me but the level of bitterness and it’s parching qualities keep me coming back. the flavor reminds me of sweetened yellow grapefruit juice (the real thing not the canned crap)... along with a solid malt backbone, orange pith and peel and some pine-like leafy green hops.
the body is medium but the carbonation is very soft which makes it really creamy on the tongue.
this is a great food friendly beer that can be consumed all night! 7/4/7/4/16/3.8 Doon (90), Phoenix, Arizona, USA

At first I was turned off, but it slowly grew on me. It has a very crisp almost woody flavor. Very unique. OzarkElmo (130), Poplar Bluff, Missouri, USA

Superb aroma - absolutely love it! Definite citrus (tangerine, grapefruit) , pine and very hoppy. Taste - bitter, dry to the end. Head diminishes somewhat, but lacing strong through the finish. Fantastic IPA IMO would definitely buy again - Cheers! RichJ7 (1175), Cullman, Alabama, USA

Citrus zest combines with grassy, resinous, leafy hops...malt is needed to balance this one out. Just not a lot of complexity here. rustychiles (1058), Mesa, Arizona, USA
