Pours amber with a laid-back head. Whole-grain toast aroma, hints of fruit, mild roastiness. Relatively restrained flavor: gently sweet, again lots of that malt, gentle unripe peach sourness. This one doesn’t really come together and click for me, but it’s got its strong points and its unoffensive. CasperQuaffer (142), Casper, Wyoming, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jan 8, 2008 Weaker head on pour, slightly cloudy copper appearance, Aroma is fresh baked rolls with a hint of baking roast beef. Flavor reminds me of a tangy tangerine. A little sweet, mild malt. A bitter aftertaste detracts. Body medium to a bit watery. vyvvy (2068), Hazelwood, Missouri, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jan 5, 2008 Pours reddish copper with a light tan head. The aroma has sweet caramel malt with fruit-like sweetness and a touch of brown sugar. Medium crisp body with some frothy carbonation. The taste starts with much of what was on the aroma with the finish having a bit of hop spiciness. A solid beer. shanepardue (107), Raytown, Missouri, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Jan 1, 2008 Little head, unique flavor that startles at first, but does grow on me a little. Fruit flavor ending with a malty bitter aftertaste. Decent beer. Not as good as some other O’Dell’s. FlyingSwine (170), Littleton, Colorado, USA

Well balanced, malty, bitter flavor that is light on hops. Little to no carbonation gives this a creamy texture. Reminds me of a quality strong ESB. Overall a well crafted brew. dalekliz (546), San Diego, California, USA

Citrus aroma with a hint of baked goods. Nice hoppy flavor. Sweet with a bit of a bite. Tasty ale. Gregis (1135), Shawnee, Kansas, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 23, 2007 Pours a pretty, deep copper with a thin, creamy, beige head. Simple and fairly muted, the aroma is a front of toasted malt and a supporting note of earthy hops. Light to medium-bodied and slick with a dry and slightly astringent finish. Toasted, nutty malt and earthy hops are about all I’m able to pull from the flavor on this beer. It’s simple but well constructed and quite drinkable; another solid, quaffable brew from Odell Brewing.
