My next door neighbor gave me a bottle of this to try. Very very enjoyable brew!!! Maltly and aromatic and bottom line tastes great!!! Full bodied with lots of gravity in every sip. O’Dell doesn’t make an inferrior beer. I would definitely recommend this one to anyone who enjoys this style of ale.

Pours amber with off-white head that is generous in size and retains rather well. Nose is soft with some toasty aromas and light caramel. Easygoing and appetizing aroma. More caramel and toasty flavors on the palate with less than average hopping for a winter warmer. Light to medium bodied and very, very drinkable.

12 ounce bottle in pint glass. Copper with lasting flat head and lace. Toasted brown sugar caramel aroma. Toasted brown sugar with mild ripe fruit and English style bitter clean finish. Nice mouthfeel. Very good.

on tap 10/29 at papago... pours a dark shade of coppery-reddish-brown with a clingy soapy white head. it smells a lot like spiced toffee... caramel, grain sweetness, earthy hops and some toasty nuts. the flavor is pretty much the same... along with some slight toasted nuts, pine and a dry spicy hopped finish. the body is medium while the palate is fairly dry. the combination makes this beer easy to put away. 7/3/7/4/15/3.6

Bottle poured deep amber in color with pretty much no head at all. Aroma is butterscotch, bread, oak, and floral hops. Flavor shows toffee, earth, and a touch of alcohol. Pretty mediocre unless your a huge fan of Odell i guess.
