Commercial Description:
Levity was named by our brewers to reflect the lightness of color in this highly drinkable golden amber ale. Extremely refreshing, this is a mild, crisp, hoppy pleasure to consume.

Pours clear light amber with a rocky off-white head. The aroma has clean smooth pale / caramel malts with light spicy hops. Medium body that is smooth with some semi-sharp carbonation. The taste starts with sweet malt that is a mix between cotton candy and caramel. The finsih is more of a cotton candy sweetness with light spicy hops. This is unoffensive, but not very intereting either.

This beer came to me in my beer club. I have never heard of the brewer before. Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a bright copper color with a medium size yellow-tan head. The aroma is sour and tangy malts with a light citrus undertone. The mouthfeel is moderately thick. The flavor is tart, tangy and sweet with a grapefruity hop element and a tart and fruity finish. Pleasant and well balanced.

12-ounce bottle poured a dense, hazy amber color with a slight white head. A big malty and hoppy aroma. Medium-bodied, with a full mouthfeel, big hop bitterness matched to an even dry/sweet maltiness. Moderate caramel character. Quite a bold "amber". Not bad.

Bottled at Stockholm Beer Festival. Clear amber with a low white head. Sweet caramely aroma with touches of sweat and vegatbles. Clean and a bit sweet flavour of caramel, brown sugar and dark bread. Short aftertaste with a low bitterness. This is what I dislike when it comes to amber ales...

Bottle pours bright amber with foamy, highly carbonated, wheat colored, head. The aroma is lightly sweet and malty, bread, floral hops. Highly carbonated, the bubbles really seperate the flavors. Palate is a little watery, but you can taste that Colorado water. The bottle lacks the depth of the draught. Light bodied, sweet, acidic. Growlers rule for this amber.

Bottled. Hazy, paleish amber colour with small slightly off-white head. Aroma is caramel, a bit vegetables and grassy hops. Flavour is flowery hops, water and some caramel. Quite standard US Amber Ale.
