A simple little beer with clean, rounded mouthfeel, flavours of unmalted barley, bread and vegetables. Near no bitterness. RaginCajun (284), Dallas, Texas, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Sep 25, 2006 Slightly sweet beer that is nicely balanced on the finish. The sweetness lingers a bit too miuch. Very drinkable beer as it goes down easily. HopheadHans (755), Bay Area, California, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Sep 16, 2006 Bottle. Pours with a copper color and a medium head. The aromas here are not overly complex, a bit of caramel and a bit of malts. Flavor more of the same, there is just not a lot going on. I was having it with food so maybe the food overwhelmed the beer, but it seemed rather boring with just a hint of malts. Another negative is that the body is too thin. | 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Sep 15, 2006 A hazy dark amber colour with a small white head that quickly disappears. It has a faint malty aroma with caramels/honey. Not very flavourful and a bit on the watery side, though a passable amber. Would be a decent session beer. TAR (2095), Boulder Co., Colorado, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Sep 8, 2006 Unfiltered peach. Thin but densely packed foam clings to the glass. Toasted malt, peach jelly, and spruce tip aroma. Heavy swirl reveals lots of doughy yeast. Fuzzy carbonation abuses the palate. Initially slick and fruity with peachy esters which are softened by toasted straw and woody malts. Abundance of clingy peaches buckles the cheeks with its acidity and also contributes to the slightly worty character, which imparts a slick and tacky texture. Juicy grapefruit whispers generate a composed bitterness which accentuates the sweet strawlike malts. The nose is pretty yeasty and alcoholic and the flavor is overly acidic. Not much fun. | 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Sep 1, 2006 Pours cloudy light brown with quarter inch white head. Aroma is sweet with spices. Taste is sweet grain in the front and mildly bitter hops on the back. Lots of carbonation. Aftertaste doesn’t stick around long. Tastes better than it appears.
