| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Oct 10, 2006 Bottle pours bright amber with foamy, highly carbonated, wheat colored, head. The aroma is lightly sweet and malty, bread, floral hops. Highly carbonated, the bubbles really seperate the flavors. Palate is a little watery, but you can taste that Colorado water. The bottle lacks the depth of the draught. Light bodied, sweet, acidic. Growlers rule for this amber. OD40oz (602), Box Elder, South Dakota, USA

Ale aroma with a citrusy taste and a very good finish. I would say the finish made this beer above average for me. FROTHINGSLOSH (2036), GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a bright copper color with a medium size yellow-tan head. The aroma is sour and tangy malts with a light citrus undertone. The mouthfeel is moderately thick. The flavor is tart, tangy and sweet with a grapefruity hop element and a tart and fruity finish. Pleasant and well balanced. jpm30 (1588), East Central, Georgia, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Nov 27, 2006 From a distinctive hop embossed Odell 12 oz. bottle, no freshness date, fall/winter ’06 seasonal release.
Poured a clear, bright golden amber with a foamy, fluffy white head that settled into a thin, bubbly, sudsy lacing.
Aromas of lightly toasted nuts and grains, a honey fruitiness and soft spicy hops.
Moderate, even carbonation and a crisp, velvety smooth medium-light bodied mouthfeel.
Pleasant tasting, toasted nuts and caramel, the honey covered pears fruitiness, soft earthy, herbal hops that have a lingering bitterness, and a dryish, toasted grainy and herbal finish.
Smooth, easy drinkability, very quaffable, a good seasonal release from a quality Colorado brewery.

A very drinkable/refreshing beer with a caramel and malty flavor. Really nice finish on this beer sets it a little above other ambers. PhillyBeer2112 (2089), Orange Park, Florida, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Mar 18, 2007 Pleasing orange color, with a small but creamy foamed head. Typical amber ale aroma: a touch of herbal and grassy hop, maybe a touch of citrus, then some caramelized doughy malts. Flavor starts balanced, with a bready malt and a spicy hop. Finishes empty, with a light hopping but almost feeling watery. Nevertheless there’s a pepper in the aftertaste, and an overall clean drinkability to this that saves it from just another boring amber. softale (188), Michigan, USA

Head was medium thickness and disappeared quickly but left a nice lacing as I drank this at a pretty good pace. Nose is a bit floral and earthy. Mouthfeel is fairly light for it’s style which I didn’t mind today because it was hot and humid here. I enjoyed this one.
