Commercial Description:
The Rocky Mountain Goat is no ordinary goat. Just like Odell Red is no ordinary red. We took the American-style red to a whole new level by adding a variety of aggressive American hops—giving this ale a distinctive fresh hop aroma and flavor. We think you’ll agree this red has some serious kick. Available February – May of ’09 6.5% Alcohol By Volume

Thanks to bman1113vr. Golden orang epour with a fizzy head. Strong aroma of citrus hops. Flavor didn’t have as much hops as the aroma let on. Pretzelly and caramel taste as well.

Bottles via a trade with beersandblues2. Sent in a picture to be uploaded. Pours with a small, fading white head that leaves good lacing over a hazed amber body. Aroma is caramel, alcohol and hops. Taste is caramel, fruit, hops and alcohol. Lively bubbles, dryish mouthfeel.

Bottle from foppa78. Pours a nice amber/red color with a good light colored head. Aroma is full of caramel malt, some floral hops, and some syrup notes as well. Flavor is full and has a really nice hop bite to balance the toffeeish malt bill. Enjoyable brew. Very sessionable.

12 oz bottle. Pours a deep reddish amber with a creamy off-white head that retains well and laces the glass.

The aroma is sweet fruity, piney, resiny hops with a little pepper and some nutty malts.

The flavor is sweet caramel malts and fruit with a nice piney lightly resinous hop finish. The mouthfeel is medium to full with smooth carbonation.

Overall, a very nice drinking well balanced beer. It has some great hop flavors.

bottle poured a reddish brown color with a egg white colored head. Hints of citrus found in a orange. The taste has some nice floral orange hops with some more peanut character. The finish is dry and earthy. Very nice beer
