| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Nov 21, 2009 Bottle #4299. Corked and caged 750ml bottle poured into a Snifter at 50°. Color is a deep golden with a hint of amber. Aroma is rich with the scents of molasses, honey and yeast. It has a full body with a creamy mouth feel that goes down rich with a slightly flat feel. Finish is rich and sweet with raisins, apple and butterscotch then just a faint hint of oak. After taste is sweet with the alcohol coming out. I love this brew, almost a Barley Wine, I would like it even more if the carbonation was just a hair higher. The more I drink it the more I like it, if it wasn’t $25 a bottle I would drink it everyday. wetherel (1636), Encinitas, California, USA
