Labeled Premium Export Lager. The aroma is sweet with a floral and grass type hop. The malt is grainy. The appearance is pale gold with a small head that falls fast. The flavor is bitter in a medicinal and astringent way. There is also a significant sweetness of cereal grains. The palate is thin. Overall it fits the style OK but the flavor is unpleasant and finishes soapy. With a name like Schmuckers it doesnt have to be good.

The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Starts mild, modest hoppy, a bit spicy. Finish still mild, a bit prickly. Drinkable, but nothing really special.

Bottle from local Publix. I assume this is the same beer I had. Aroma is malty and beer has a pretty sweet taste. Malt overflows the tongue. A bit too sweet for a lager. But not too bad either.
