Jul 8, 2008 500ml bottle from Beers of Europe. A dark lager of little character. Few hops, and little impact from the malt. Inoffensive, with some (very) light chocolate on the swallow. Moderate malty sweetness, finishing with a delicate dryness. Little here of interest.

Jul 8, 2008 Bottle: Solid ruby-amber coloured, smaller lacing off-white head; dark-malty, a bit papery nose with a fruity tinge; moderate bitter-sweet flavour; light bodied; quite grainy, slightly sourish and a bit chocolatey finish. Not absolutely unpleasant, but quite boring stuff...........

May 14, 2008 (bottle) Clear, dark brown colour with a nice, slightly beige foamy head. Moderately sweet, slightly bready and crusty malty nose with a tinge of citrus and herbal hops. Slightly sweet and bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Slightly roasted malty taste, German Schwarzbrot-like with light notes of liquorice; moderately dry, bitter-sweet and a bit slim finish. Decent Schwarzbier (12.05.08).

Jan 31, 2007 Bottled. Reddish brown coloured. Malty and slightly roasty aroma. Light malty flavour with notes of caramel. Light to medium bodied. Rather bland.
