Commercial Description:
We dry-hop this American Style India Pale Ale with seven grains and four domestic hop varieties by adding dry whole hops to the finishing tank so the beer rests "on top" of the hops for five extra days! Malty sweetness up front with big cascade and glacier hops in the finish -- a wonderfully drinkable IPA!

Pours amber with a big white head. hoppy, pine, grapefruit, etc for both. Easy going down, nice bitterness. I’d like to talk about it more but I’m busy drinking it. Sessionable and I’m in that kind of mood.

Good ipa, best one brewed in St Louis. Smells like pine cones and grapefruit, but has an overly grainy texture.

Decent ipa, not a lot on the nose, but nice bitter taste. Smooth hops but bitter at the same time, just could have been a little stronger.

Bitter. Decent hops. A fairly tasty IPA from the mid-Missouri region. This is about as close as we get to decent IPA drinking - include Schlafly’s and that’s all we got.

Cloudy orange, decent spongy white head. Very fruity aroma, with some grapefruit and honey, plus a touch of caramel. A little heavy at first, then a nice dry, flinty citrusy hop bite mixed with fruity sweetness. Nice and tasty. Thanks to theisti for the trade.

Bottle from CaptainCougar, thanks Tom! Pours a small tan head with good retention and a fair amount of stringy lace. Clear amber, deep copper hued color. Nose is faint grainy malts, iron and citrus notes. Body is medium with an over abundance of carbonation and some astringent notes as well. Medium sweet caramel malt flavors, spicey citrus notes, grainy notes, pineapple. Finish is fairly dry, lightly fruity and somewhat astringent. Almost Amber-ish in style.

Poured a hazy amber color with a small off-white head. Toasty malt with mild citrus hops mixing through. Malty caramel and toast with not much sweetness. Some citrus in the middle and a mildly bitter finish.

12 oz. bottle courtesy of moejuck - thanks for this regional IPA! Pours hazy ruddy amber with a moderate creamy white head that leaves pleasant lace as it diminishes. Aroma of caramel and toasty malts, citrus and dusty floral hops. Flavor is hop dominant with more of the aforementioned citrus, lemon peel, dirty pine and dust, malts are definitely in the background, with a light toasty character evident, leading to an astringent finish - a little unbalanced for my tastes as I expected more malt sweetness in the taste, based on the aroma. Medium body and tingly carbonation.
