| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 2, 2007 deep orange opaque color with rocky white foamy head. and actually, don’t think i’m weird, but i touched the head and it didn’t move and it was sticky firmly holding everything into place stronger than hairnet. flavor is very agreeable. lots of strong but not crazy overpowering hops. citrus (lemon and orange) almost feel like they are infused with merigue, and pine, apple, and fruity malty goodness, for lack of better terms . | 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Jun 20, 2008 Pours a hazy amber with a small off-white head that dissipates to wisps around the top and left a bit of lacing. Smell is a balance of sweet malts and citrus and pine. The hops are dominant but not overdone in the smell. The taste starts with a pop of bitter piney hops with some grapefruit which gives way to the malts before the hops leave a bit of bitterness in the finish. The mouthfeel was medium with good carbonation and nice and sticky with pine resin. The drinkability is pretty high on this and it’s a decent example of an AIPA. jcr (1190), Jasper, Indiana, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 7, 2009 Bottle. Deep gold, approaching orange body. Small, frothy, off-white head, mostly diminishing. the aroma is fairly well balanced between caramel malts and grapefruit hops. It also displays some huskiness. But there is not much else to the aroma. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. It finishes lightly sweet and moderately bitter, though less of a crisp bite than expected. Medium body, watery texture and lively carbonation. Slightly above average. BeerHawk (1175), Huntsville, Alabama, USA
