| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 1, 2008 12 oz. bottle. Pours a slightly hazy amber color with a very good sized beige head with decent retention. the aroma is very citrus up front with some floral notes and sweet malt coming through as well. The flavor is very similar to the nose. It is hoppy early; bitter hops , citrus hops along with some roasted caramel malt. the malt is not enough to balance the hops. Light body and a little thin. Not bad. csbosox (1082), Prairie Village, Kansas, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Mar 12, 2007 Updated: Oct 23, 200712oz bottle. Served right from the beer fridge in an english pint glass. Copper colored with a small, but persistent head. Hazy. Piney, earthy, flowery, mild citrus aroma as well as some malty sweetness. Initial flavor is flowery, pungent, light citrus, and grassy hops and malty, caramelly sweetness followed by some herbal, earthy flavors and a moderate bitterness. The finish is lingering bitterness and flowery, earthy, grapefruit hops goodness. Not a bad AmIPA, very drinkable. barleyPops (1081), Quad-Cities, Illinois, USA

Aroma is medium sweet caramel and grapefruit and piney hops. Flavor is not as pronounced as the aroma but still bitter and a bit tannic. The beer still has a nice American IPA Hop and malt balance. Medium bodied, somewhat chewy texture. Finishes long and unfortunately tannic. austone (1039), Turku; Pori, Finland
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 6, 2009 Bottled at HBF 09. Amber, tiny pale head. Basic piney aroma, little soap and passionfruit, well hopped and balanced. Flavor has pretty much the same hop notes with dryish malts and lingering resiny bitterness. Almost medium bodied, softly carbonated and slightly chewy mouthfeel. A good, though a bit generic IPA, I wish could’ve sampled this on tap. roder60 (1030), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 18, 2008 Pours a nice copper amber color, slightly hazy, with a nice amount of foamy white head. Aroma smells like a bowl full of recently cut open grapefruit. Grapefruit completely dominates the entire aroma. Flavor a bit week and watery, though some citrusy hops. Overall, quite drinkable. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 26, 2008 Draft at the Dubliner in St. Louis: Pours a sunny amber with a proper foamy cap. The nose is subtle, but citrusy. The hops shine in the body, which finds a nice balance between bittering and flavoring hops. Citrus, pine and wet grass throughout. A sweet caramel maltiness catches your tongue on the back end and brings this one together. Well made and very drinkable.
