| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 10, 2008 12oz bottle. Sharp piney honey hops in the nose, with a clean and unmuddled taste. It’s straight hops and little in the way of malt, which is nice, and the hops are moderately bitter honey and pine cones, with a little faint bit of butter thrown in for kicks. Sure, it’s not the best IPA, but it’s made to style and does the job: simple, clean, hoppy. Cornfield (4956), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jul 1, 2007 Good hoppy nose on this copper/orange ale. The head is thick and rocky and does some heavy lacing. It has a strong floral aroma backed by pine and grapefruit. The flavor has light caramel malt, grapefruit juice, and a resinous bitterness that lasts long into the finish. Pretty decent effort.

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 22, 2007 Copper color with a full heavy cream colored head. Even though the bubbles are larger the head does seem to be quite stable. Only hints of caramel come past the shield of grassy and lightly citric hops. Some mild hints of licorice, but the nose on this one makes me wonder that this really is... IPA, APA or perhaps an amber. Grapefruit peels and some citric jelly beans come to mind after the first sip. For some reason I feel like I am chewing on a hops root. The malt sweetness does not cover the sharp hops. I don’t catch the balance in this one. Tmoney99 (4765), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA

Nose is bready malt, hops, orange marmalade, and some earthy and funky hints. Tastes bready caramel malty, with hops and some peaty, earthy, funky undercurrents. Not too shabby at all. The body was medium to light bronze with a khaki head. The aroma was grapefruit with sweet grape juice. There was also some floral notes of dandelion. The taste was grapefruit with some bread crust and minerals. This was uninspiring. The body was smooth and light. Tried again recently, it is decent.
