Commercial Description:
We dry-hop this American Style India Pale Ale with seven grains and four domestic hop varieties by adding dry whole hops to the finishing tank so the beer rests "on top" of the hops for five extra days! Malty sweetness up front with big cascade and glacier hops in the finish -- a wonderfully drinkable IPA!

Bottle: Pours copper with a white head. Aroma, citrus, toffee, caramel, very malty. Flavor, citrus, pale and caramel malts, toffee, pretty sweet, but some nice spicy, citrus bitterness comes through on the finish.

courtesy of BA trade. Pours hazy copper, off white head. Aroma is hoppy floral with notes of caramel malts. Taste, hoppy with good caramel character. Finish is light with some sugary fruits with a light bitter finish.

tap-st louis microfest. pours orange with a small soapy white head. earthy, green, piney nose. the glacier and cascade is definately evident with all the grassy notes here. not much malt to speak of here. some resinous hops in the finish that lasted for quite some time. body is medium with stiff and prickly carbonation. not a bad ipa from this local brewery. I will try again with a full sample here soon.

Sampled from bottle: poured a cloudy amber colour with a small off white head. Aroma is subtley floral with some wierd iron notes. Biscuity with rich roasted malts on the palate. Hop taste was there but not as full as I was hoping. Nice beer overall. But it could take a lesson from SNPA.

Mildly hazed and buffed caramel orange with a billowing tan head reaching north of two inches. Aroma is fantastic. Kiwi, mango and starfruit meet honey glazed ruby red grapefruit pulp. A hint of maple sweetening rides the sugared orangey peach cotton to the nose’s content. Flavor continues much of the same, with an orange marmalade glaze over doughy biscuits triumphing over the sweet aromatic hop precursors. Carbonation is a touch harsh and the bittering hops only amplify their dynamic effect. Orange sprigs and honey blossom pine mix and match throughout the quaff. Bran flakes are fiercely stricken by cascade hop pellets. The sweetness drops away for cascade glades. Biscuity allocations and a mineral-esque aftertaste circle down the hatch with the fading, bitter peach and mango sentiments in the end.

bottle. Pours a slightly cloudy amber orange with some floaties. Decent fluffy white head. Aroma had slight tea, sweet malts & medium hop presence. Taste was muted hops with sweet malts. Hop bitterness was faint in thebackground but I believe the bottle may have been past its prime. Very drinkable & rather tasty

Thick-hazed, honey/bronze in color under a thin, whitish head. This has aged a while, but the nose still finds plenty of resiny, piney hops along with lemon, grapefruit and instant tea. Hops are a little more tame in the flavor, but all the aromatic elements can still be tasted and there is a bit of a citric/peppery bite at the end. Surprisingly creamy mouthfeel. Overall refreshing. ~~~~~~~~~~ 12 oz. bottle from Cornfield quite some time ago.

Bottle. Body is a nice amber orange, thin white head. Aroma smells like Warrior hops, light honey, but warrior hops is money in my books. Taste is a smooth hoppiness, west coast, and pnw hops seem present. Very nice IPA, underated.
