Commercial Description:
We dry-hop this American Style India Pale Ale with seven grains and four domestic hop varieties by adding dry whole hops to the finishing tank so the beer rests "on top" of the hops for five extra days! Malty sweetness up front with big cascade and glacier hops in the finish -- a wonderfully drinkable IPA!

Several drafts at St Louis Microfest, 5/13/06 ... one of my favorites from this outing. Beautiful orange-tinged amber color. Smooth texture. Nice oily hoppiness. I loved it.

The best IPA for the price. Lots of hop flavor and an amber color. Medium sized head. Definitely worth a try if your a fan of IPA’s.

Draught@HBF2009. Amber colour, medium beige foamy head. Aroma is hops, fruity and earthy and wooden. Bigtime IPA nose. Flavour is big time fruity hops with big bitterness and some caramel malts. Grass and dry fruity hops in aftertaste. WOW, for once a nice ipa.

poured from a 12oz bottle into an imperial nonic pint glass; beer thanks to cardsmith A: You can immediately tell the bottle-conditioning from the yeast sediment that trickles into the glass as you pour; fairly thin-looking ruby-red/copper/amber color, very sparkly, decent head and very minor lacing. S: Beer smells delicious! All fresh hops and juicy citrust notes, with just a touch of bready malt for balance. T/M: Lots of hops in this one, all over the place. Right up front, lingering on the finish, hops, hops & more hops. I detect several varieties of hops in here and one of them has got to be Cascade (got that distinct PNW bitterness to it). Nice balanced malts so the beer is more than drinkable. Creamy smooth to the feel with a sharp tangy carbonization to match the bitter hoppy finish. I’m really liking this one. D: Yet another fantastic IPA from a tiny regional craft brewer. You’d do well to acquire this one in a trade, and get more than 1 ’cause you’ll be sad if you don’t! Recommended!

Now this is how an IPA should smell. Big stinky hop smell like you have a handful of hops. Flavor is dominated by hop flavor, citrusy and earthy. A bitter backend sticks around. You can tell this is fresh.

Hazy golden to amber in color with a big, effervescent head that has thin lacing. Has a very fragrant, floral nose with the slightest hint of pine. Clean, earthy hop flavor is delectable as candy. The finish is fantastic! Like the sweetest grapefruit you’ve ever had, blended with honey and nutmeg. Does taste a tad soapy, however. Tentatively bittered. Exquisitely smooth and drinkable. A tasty blend of citrus and noble hops.

Very nice and hoppy IPA. Piney and robust hop aroma and flavor. Nice oily fresh-cut pine wood vapors, like I’m out sawing right now....choppin’ down a forest of logs, earnin’ a living...ok that’s enough (I know). Ultra tasty. I was surprised! Over all a great beer to have in the fridge at all times! I got this in 12 oz bottle but I can only imagine how it would be fresh on tap!

Orange-copper with big, foamy off-white head / Yeasty, pine, and citrus nose / Light to medium body, balanced between malts and creamy hops, with some sweetness and with a dry, slightly bitter finish / Mellow flavors of dry hops, bread, lemon and pineapple / A subdued,easy-drinking ipa.
