Commercial Description:
We dry-hop this American Style India Pale Ale with seven grains and four domestic hop varieties by adding dry whole hops to the finishing tank so the beer rests "on top" of the hops for five extra days! Malty sweetness up front with big cascade and glacier hops in the finish -- a wonderfully drinkable IPA!

Soapy, sweaty, musky resiny pungent hop aroma. Also salty seawater aroma. Moldy algae? Hmm, the aroma improves as my nose attunes toth is, and it becomes more citric, resiny and sweaty. Flavor is thankfully better, a strong piney resiny flavor that reminds me chinook but must be the glacier. Malt serves as a simple backdrop, lightly bread and clean. Finish is solidly bitter. Appearance copper with a light tight head with fair lacing. I’m still not in love with the aroma on this beer, but the rest of it is a decent whopper of an IPA.

I had this on a trip to St Louis @ a fish place. I found it a solid IPA along with crisp flavors. It was clean and refreshing with a nice head.

Nice piney citrus hop aroma, no malts around on this. Clear dark golden boy with a decent amoutn of carbonation. Taste is very crips and very hoppy - medium bodied. There is a faint amount of dry caramel malt in the backgroup, but the dominance is the hops - a mixture of citrus and pine. Further into the beer the citrus aspect goes more into the background the malts become more apparent, but the piney hops are still the main character. This is a nice showing from a generally inconsistant brewery. I hope this is an indication of things to come. I am told they are going to be bottling this soon - hope it is sooner than later.

Bottle from Party Source. This beer pours a mostly clear copper color with a medium light beige head that has decent retention. Patchy lacing on the back half of the glass. Piney hops and mild malt in the nose. Medium body with a moderately bitter hops character, and flavors of pine and grapefruit along with a touch of malt. The finish is citrus and hops with a somewhat sweet underlying malt that lingers awhile. Above average all around.

Bottle- Pours a hazy copper, big white head and nice lacing. Aroma is hoppy, but there’s more of a perfumey note in this, under the piney/grapefruit of the cascades. Flavor is initially purely bitter, slowly warming into malts that don’t quite balance, more malts are needed desperately. Aftertaste fades quickly compared to most in this style, but it is nice and bitter while it lasts. Mouthfeel is good. If they tweaked this with a bit more malt, it could be a very nice beer, fo for now, it’s pretty good with a great aroma.

Bottled. Poured a very slightly hazy medium orange with a tall, rocky cap of beige head and sticky lacing. The aroma first found an intriguing floral hop presence with sweet toffee... deeper caramel sugars, citrus, and pine notes emerge shortly afterward along with a bit of cookie sweetness. The flavor had sweet candied caramel and toffee with mild pine, citrus, and floral bitterness.. left a moderate-length pine and caramel finish. Medium-bodied with a creamy middle on the palate.. OK balance. Solid brew.

Grapefruit, pine and orange- all the usual suspects in an IPA. Dry finish, full bodied, a hint of floral notes in the nose- I agree with sethdude that this could use a little more malt. A decent IPA.

12 oz Bottle from Pantanap! Saya Premiere Edition; Floral hoppy nose with some piney notes; hazy copper with a small straw colored head; flavor of piney hop bitterness comes from the medium body with the hop bitterness lasting to the finish!Didn’t notice any malty sweetness, just medium bitterness!
