Commercial Description:
We dry-hop this American Style India Pale Ale with seven grains and four domestic hop varieties by adding dry whole hops to the finishing tank so the beer rests "on top" of the hops for five extra days! Malty sweetness up front with big cascade and glacier hops in the finish -- a wonderfully drinkable IPA!

120z bottle. thanks jase! aroma denotes a healthy dry hopped effort from o’fallon. plenty of citric grapefruit and some onion like tones. color is an attractive copper shade with a light haze. pours with a thin off white head that quickly settles. nice start to this beer. lots of hop bite leads to a long piney sting with crisp grains rising in the middle. light touch of caramel sweetness appears briefly before being swallowed up by more pine.

Pours hazy amber with a huge off white head (bottle date was dec. 07). Aroma is citrusy grapefruit. Flavor is nice citrusy, piney hops with slight pale malt flavors. Not bad.

Sampled from a 12-oz bottle during Dark Lord Day ’09 at table 3. Pours a semi-hazy copper colored brew with an nice sized off-white head that slowly dissipates to a white ring. Aroma of caramel malt with grapefruit and citrus character with a touch of lemon and herbs. Taste is medium bodied, with flavors of grapefruit, citrus zest, a hint of front lawn and a touch of caramel. Finish is semi-sweet, a nice bitterness with a lingering grapefruit and grassy hop aftertaste.

This was a pretty decent IPA. Had a nice hoppy aroma. Poured a dark orange color with thin white head. Nice malty backbone to it, decent carbonation and smooth finish. Would drink again.

(Bottle at HBF2009) Amber and clear. Small white head. Aroma of conifer forest - pine, spruce and juniper. Full boided and dry palate with medium carbonation. Pine, malts, resin, bitterness and fruitiness in taste. Malts and hops in aftertaste.

Bottle. Pours a clear amber with off-white head. Aroma is nice, some caramel and pine. Flavor of some caramel, nice pine hop flavor, nice small bitter. Mouth feel is medium body with high carbonation. Over all, and easy drinking, tasty, nicely balanced IPA.

Hazy amber with thin off-white head. Hoppy aroma of citrus, pine, floral hops with a little malty sweetness behind it. Taste of pine, citrus and mild floral hops with a sweet finish that isn’t too bitter at first but as it lingers gets a bit stronger. Creamy texture with some astringency. Drinkable but not outstanding.

12oz bottle courtesy of dakid618. Pours an attractive hazy dark caramel color with a one finger foamy white head that settles quickly but somewhat laces the glass. Aroma is sweet and floral with notes of citrus, grapefruit, pine, caramel, honey, spice. Flavor is sweet and floral with stronger notes of citrus, grapefruit and hops with some hints of caramel, honey and spice. Generally light to medium body with a pleasing floral hop finish.
