Dark clear amber color, small steady off-white head. Fresh piney, grapefruity aroma. Wooah. .. fresh grapefruity, pine needles, good yeasty background. Extreme fresh and good. MrBunn (1542), Western, Pennsylvania, USA

Dark amber/almost brown coloration with a 1/2 inch head and some pretty active carbonation. Aromas are of pine/resin with a bit of a citrusy note of pineapple and grapefruit as well. Malt body doesn’t show up heavily in the aroma, but it’s caramel presence nicely balances the transition between the piney cascade hops up front and the milder grapefruit finish. Really nicely blended. xav33 (313), Midland, MI, Michigan, USA

12 oz bottle
Moderate pour in a tulip glass
Recent brewing, dabbled into 05/07
Poured a hazy amber orange with a large fizzy mostly lasting head with fair lacing.
Smelt of strong fruity peach, pineapple and oranges, with pine and light sweet caramel and cookie malt.
Taste was upfront strong bitter spruce and grapefruit rind hops and moderate sweet oranges and light caramel followed by a strong to harsh grassy bitter green hops buzz with a light honey sweetness on an average length finish.
Palate was light to medium bodied, oily, fizzy, and strongly astringent.
Overall, an impressive IPA that is light bodied and drinkable in the summer. Slightly on the sweet side, but it balances out the hops nicely. millstadtguy (50), Millstadt, Illinois, USA

Not the most bitter I’ve had but just the right amount of hops. I just wish they would bottle it. Well not that you ever would (God forbid), but you could with one of these suckers. Probably the most heavily dry-hopped beer I’ve ever had, it still maintains a polished balance on the tongue. Wonderfully smooth mouthfeel, good (not great) finish. It makes me miss St. Louis... Pastor (509), Maine, USA

The body of the brew was a clear amber color.
There is a good hop presence on this nose grapefruit and gassy. There was a slight sour note on the brew as well. A great bitter forward brew the hops are nice and fresh some piney resin and citrus. There was a medium feel to my mouth with ample carbonation for my tongue.
A nice IPA would not turn it down. Good drinkability on the brew easy to session

Looks like a Hefe, almost, and the head goes away but leaves a nice lace behind. Flavor is a lot maltier than I thought it would be (given it’s an IPA), but then on the finish is the dry hoppy flavor. Bottle seems to improve as it warms a little. Pretty good IPA. dwaggs2 (560), Lee’s Summit, Missouri, USA
