Aroma of fairly fresh, green grapefruity hops and a touch of earthy pale toasted malt. Body starts fairly full with a decent citrusy grapefruity flavor and toasty earthy caramel malt. Very drinkable and well-balanced. kmeves (1081), Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin, USA

Aroma is medium sweet caramel and grapefruit and piney hops. Flavor is not as pronounced as the aroma but still bitter and a bit tannic. The beer still has a nice American IPA Hop and malt balance. Medium bodied, somewhat chewy texture. Finishes long and unfortunately tannic. Terminus (1955), Las Cruces, New Mexico, USA

I will try again with a full sample here soon. kumite56 (461), Cordova, Tennessee, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jul 13, 2007 Pretty damn nice hoppy beer, an extra from theisti. Pours orange-copper with a small head and cannot see through the beer. Aroma is orange-heavy citrus with grapefruit hops, nicely fresh with a slight oily hop aspect. Taste is better melded citrus flavors (cannot pinpoint one type of citrus fruit) with light sweet cereal-hoppiness (weird nothing like it before, or maybe just a well intergrated malt and hops profile). FInishes medium bitter with a long grapefruit skin aftertaste. SledgeJr (2972), Omaha, Nebraska, USA

Tony was calling this the "5 Day IPA" on this festival day. Light amber with a serious and beautiful white head. Aroma has what I’m looking for: hoppy citrus of grapefruit and pine. Even a touch of fruity flowery sweetness. The body has a medium malt palate that supports the generous hops. This won’t win any hopheads over, but it is a fine drinker all on its own. Nose is bready malt, hops, orange marmalade, and some earthy and funky hints. Tastes bready caramel malty, with hops and some peaty, earthy, funky undercurrents. Not too shabby at all.
