Bottle. This is a different beer. It is ok but not great. Pours a brownish color with a little head. Smell is well no surprise cherries and chocolate. Taste is much of the same. Just something missing with this beer.

12oz bottle. I’ve always wanted to taste a beer brewed with feces and wax paper, now I can say I have...Pours brown with a small off-white head. Aroma is of plastic cherries, ass chocolate, malt, and grass. Taste is tart, horrid cherries with generic chocolate, grass, and cardboard left out in the rain on a hot July day. This beer was my first ever drain our. I felt bad for the goddamn drain.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a hazy amber color with a medium sized off white head that disappears quickly. The aroma has an artificial candy quality: some cherry, more Nestlee Quick chocolate/cocoa. The flavor has some cherry and chocolate to it, but the base beer is too thin and watery. The chocolate is not the rich creamy variety, but more of the bargain bin type. I would like to see more cherry, however I won’t be revisiting this again.

Bottle from strykzone. Thanks Dave. Pours a hazy orangish brown with a small white fizzy head that fades fast. Smells of cherry candy, spoiled grains, gross chocolate. Flavor of wet cardboard, more natty cocoa, ugh. Only for the ticker.

Thanks turd for sharing. Pours a murky reddish with a creamy tannish head. The nose is sweet Hershey chocolate and fake cherry, sweet, grainy, caramel, gross. The flavor is grainy, sweet, rotten fruit, bad, chocolate.

Reviewed 12/3/2008 (bottle): Pours a clear brown color body, not cloudy, somewhat dark. A small off-white head that is quickly diminishing, leaving nothing after 20 seconds. Syrupy, chocolate aroma. Some dark roasted notes. Dark chocolate aroma with a fizzy cherryness too. Chocolate taste, a drying chocolate aftertaste, like chocolate milk. Somewhat creamy taste, but something is not quite right with the taste. Almost like a cola and a cheap cherry pie. Somewhat spicy aftertaste. Carbonated. What happened to this beer? Nearly undrinkable.

Pours a cloudy amber color from the bottle with mild carbonation and a headed that fizzs away like a Coke. Smells and tastes just like a box of chocolate cherries. Thin mouthfeel, but just what I was expecting. An underrated dessert beer in my opinion.

This sounds good, but it just isn’t. The chocolate flavor is there, but I didn’t find any cherry.
