Terrible. It looks nice in the glass. But there is very little cherry or chocolate and it doesn’t mix well at all.

tasters and smells like a cordial cherry...which is not necesarily a great thing. my bottle said it was a cherry chocolate stout. if that is the case, then this is the thinnest stout i have ever had. low quality chocolate and artificial cherries...flat...

Dark walnut color, tastes like a tootsie pop in the beginning then ends in bland carbonation. Not a fan.

12oz bottle: Pours like a cherry coke with a thick, tan head. The nose is fusel, with a sharp and medicinal cherry note overtaking the fudgey chocolate base beneath. While I can get past the off cherry note in the nose, it literally dominates the body. Fake cherry and nail polish alcohol infused body. Yikes, not much to say about this one. I hope infection or autolysis is at work here as this is undrinkable. Drain pour.

Bottle at Growlers Pub West in St. Louis. The beer is a dark reddish-brown color with a medium thin light beige head that recedes quickly. Spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma similar to a cherry Tootsie Pop. Medium-bodied and sweet with cherry and chocolate flavors, plus a touch of malt. The finish is artificial cherry sweetness that does not linger long. Overall this one did not really click with me.

The reviewer just below mine described this beer so perfectly that I’m left with nothing to add. Aroma, appearance, flavor, Gregis has summed it all up very nicely. All I can add to this is, I poured this in a flute and DID enjoy the aroma the more for it.

Pours a cloudy, root beer brown with a frothy, beige head that diminishes to a thin cap. On the pour, this smelled a lot like cherry cordials, but once I got my nose over the glass, it smelled more like cherry licorice and cocoa with a slightly phenolic malt presence. (I should probably have served this in a flute to rather than a shaker; I might have enjoyed the aroma a bit more than I did.) Light to medium-bodied, with soft carbonation and a dry, mildly astringent finish. The flavor is of cocoa and mildly sour and astringent cherries, finishing fairly dry. Lingering, cherry licorice whip and faint cocoa notes hang on long after the swallow. This is an interesting brew that’s worth trying, if you are so inclined, but it’s not really "my cup of tea".

The beer was decent. The flavor was a little artificial and the chocolate and cherry tastes were not that enjoyable. However, the aroma gave me smell memories to past Halloweens and I spent most of the time trying to figure out a certain flavor that this beer reminded me of. The closest I could get on one bottle was double bubble gum or the gum that used to come with baseball cards. May have to buy more to in narrow down the flavor some more.
