The flavor was a little artificial and the chocolate and cherry tastes were not that enjoyable. However, the aroma gave me smell memories to past Halloweens and I spent most of the time trying to figure out a certain flavor that this beer reminded me of. The closest I could get on one bottle was double bubble gum or the gum that used to come with baseball cards. May have to buy more to in narrow down the flavor some more. bunderw (1), Champaign, Illinois, USA does not count | 1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 3/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 1/20 | Jan 29, 2008 This was probably the worst beer I’ve ever tasted. It doesn’t even taste like beer, it tastes like a really bad pie that ended up as puree from a blender. I tried it with 3 of my beer drinking buddies, and we could not even finish the 6er amongst the group. Awful, awful, awful...that’s all i can say. hogan873 (334), Joliet, Illinois, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Dec 27, 2007 Delicious. Pours a dark amber with a lasting, frothy off-white head. Aroma is heavy on the cherry with notes of chocolate and wheat. A lot of carbonation on the palate. The beer starts crisp and sweet with a definite taste of chocolate covered cherries. Only a slightly bitter chocolate aftertaste. A very fine beer. AOF (282), Naperville, Illinois, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Dec 22, 2007 A dark reddish brown beer, full frothy off white head. Cherries the dominant aroma here. Chocolate is evident but the cherries take center stage. LIght bodied and well carbonated. Not the biggest fan of the fruity beers, but this one was pretty good. ilovedarkbeer (1365), Dallas, Texas, USA

Pours a dark black brown with red lacing. Smells of (surprise) chcolate and cherries. Taste is smooth and sweet and tastes just like a chocolate covered cherry. Good but not great. Honestly, I kinda like the aroma: tootsie rool sweetness with a hint of marischino cherry. Pours a dark brownish/amber with a thin white head. Flavor falls a tad flat. The tootsie roll chocolate is there, but where’s the cherry/ A fair amount of thin malt as well. Finishes dry and a tad watery. lampeno420 (321), Zeeland, Michigan, USA
