The head was off white and dissipated relatively quickly. The aroma was chocolate dominated, ala Tootsie roll, but there were also whiffs of cherry and sassafras. Medium to full bodied with lowish carbonation. Fruity and earthy flavors which included the likes of black cherry and black tea. There was also some chocolate, but it was much more subdued than it was in the nose. Dry, earthy finish. Decent stuff. HonkeyBra (1346), Lemont, Illinois, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Feb 1, 2009 Murky dark brown pour. Aroma is biscuity and cardboard. Flavor is thin and watery, mostly cardboard. Ugh, with a name like Goat’s breath, what can you expect? Bov (5455), Bienne, Switzerland
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 30, 2009 I had this beer many years ago at one time when I was only giving ratings to the beers but was too lazy and stupid to write down my thoughts. I will update this as soon as I get my hands on this beer again. MONZA (17), Kansas, USA
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Jan 18, 2009 Thin, watery, and light on the palate. Biscuit malt is the primary flavor. Hops? I cant say anything else about this one. Wont be in my fridge again as there are many alternatives for the same coin that exceed this effort. pjweaver (133), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA

Dark cherry color on the pour, boozy dark chocolate aroma. Watered down flavor, with the Kolsch yeast dominating the tongue. Pecan/walnut aftertaste, interesting take on the bock style....meh. FROTHINGSLOSH (2015), GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Dec 20, 2008 Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a dark brown color with a trace of a dark tan head. The aroma was bitter and fruity with light notes of caramel and dry chocolate. The flavor was bitter, tart and fruity with notes of apple and caramel. The finish was short and tart. Somewhat off tasting. Eh. slipy120 (69), Michigan, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 3, 2008 Poured from bottle, had standard amber color of any Bock beer. The beer had slightly higher than average mouthfeel and was quite carbonated. Strange bitter aftertaste that was in no way unpleasent. Overall good beer. kmweaver (2465), Sebastopol, California, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Aug 15, 2008 12oz bottle, courtesy of a trade from a while ago. Thanks! Pours a medium-to-dark honeyed cola color; thin, light-tan head with patchy lacing. Decent amounts of nougat and caramel in the aroma, with some sticky candy sugar / dried red fruits creeping in. Medium-to-full mouthfeel: lots of cola, brown sugar, and dried red and dark fruits upfront; sweet, clean character, with honeyed sweetness at the core; a bit oily mouthfeel at the edges; lingering sweetness throughout. Medium, sweet finish: loads of brown sugar and dried dark fruits; ends with lingering sugar.
