Bottle donated by Kevin. Clear brown body under a foamy tan head; large carbonation. Cocoa and crystal malt in the aroma - smells nice. The flavor is a middling combination of crystal malt, munich, and light noble hops. OK stuff.

Almost chocolate in the aroma. Stonger alky malt impact on the palate. Not much carbobation. Certainly has some of those offensive ale attributes. Almost chocolate medicine finish. Not high on the list of my dunkle bocks.

Picked up a 12-oz bottle at THree Cellars in St Francis, Wisconsin. Pours a semi-clear copper amber brew with a fast dissolving off-white head that leaves behind a thin off-white ring. Aroma of roasted caramel and Munich malts, some chocolate, and brown sugar. Taste is smooth and creamy, medium bodied, light carbonation with a roasted malty character with roasted nuts, and a touch of plum. Finish is slightly dried malty aftertaste that is even semi-sweet after the finish. Not too shabby.

12oz bottle-A crimson color with a small off white head that dissipated into a small covering. Aroma of brown sugar, molasses, alcohol, and caramel. Flavor is of roasted malt, caramel, alcohol, and a tingly finish. This medium to full bodied brew is fairly tasty. Not a fan of this style but it is pretty tasty.

4/29/2008: O’Fallon Goat’s Breath Bock Ale contains toasted and caramelized malt in both the aroma and flavor. The flavor also has hints of prune and a suggestion of bitterness. This beer has a clear, deep honey to amber color with small but stagnant beige/ivory head. The body of this beer is actually a bit more than I expected (medium to medium-full), but it worked will with the flavor characteristics of the beer. Surprisingly, this was a pretty good Bock Ale that I wouldn’t pass up given that chance to have another.

12 fl. oz. bottle shared by Tmoney99. Thanks Tom. Not too bad with the cigar. Just enough malt to make the pairing work! Rating #50 for this beer...

This is a decent beer. The flavor reminds me of a porter in a way, malty with some coffee flavor. The aroma is very sweet, chocolaty, with a hint of coffee, and even a bit of dry fruit.

Pours a clear brown color with almost no head - just a few pathetic white bubbles. Sickly sweet aroma, reminds me of nestles quick dry mix and some burnt caramel. Flavor is very sweet plums, burnt caramel and that baking chocolate flavor. Overall, not a very good bock.

From bottle... caramel colored with similar aroma. Not the awful aroma I anticipated, which was somewhat disappointing. All downhill from there. Flavor was a bit like sweet, nasty chew spit with a shot of grain alcohol. A little thick too. The marketing drew me in, but the product told me to never come back. And I won’t.
