Pours a rusty red, dark brown head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is massively sweet, brown sugar, maple syrup notes, and a sligh, peaty smoke note. Flavor is big, initially very sweet, malty to the point of being hot, caramel, toffee, lemon, yeasty notes, nuttiness, and a very bitter, toasty finish. Not at all sweet, but finely balanced. Bravo!

What everyone else has said pretty much. It has a caramel, milky-creamy palate taste to it. A different tatste to it, but not in a bad way. I especially like it, but not for everoyne.

Ruby red with quickly diminishing beige head. Aroma of caramel, toasted malts, bread and light fruit. Heavily malted smooth body tasting of caramel, sweet malts, light fruit. A little on the sweet side and very lightly carbonated.

Pour is a nice dark red with a average tan head. Aroma is a very nice caramel with some roasted malts and a deffinate alcohol aroma. Flavor is malty, malty and malty! 8 different malts use in this one and they really come to the forefront. True to the style with low hop bitterness and a nice creamy finish. Decent bock with plenty of flavor and aroma.

Pours a nice clear cola brown with a fairly thick but not very persistent pale beige head. Aroma is yeasty and has hints of spices and caramel. Flavor is rather spicy, yeasty and malty with a caramel undertone. Texture is smooth with a good strong tingle to it.

12oz bottle. thanks Derek! clean red brown shade pours with a brief off-white head. sweetish nose of coco and grain with some caramel tones. smooth and fresh come to mind. earthy malts contain a roasty toasty character. fairly sweet, with low bitterness on the finish. body is medium to full and succeeds in not being cloying. good brew.

4/29/2008: O’Fallon Goat’s Breath Bock Ale contains toasted and caramelized malt in both the aroma and flavor. The flavor also has hints of prune and a suggestion of bitterness. This beer has a clear, deep honey to amber color with small but stagnant beige/ivory head. The body of this beer is actually a bit more than I expected (medium to medium-full), but it worked will with the flavor characteristics of the beer. Surprisingly, this was a pretty good Bock Ale that I wouldn’t pass up given that chance to have another.

12 fl. oz. bottle shared by Tmoney99. Thanks Tom. Not too bad with the cigar. Just enough malt to make the pairing work! Rating #50 for this beer...

Mahogany colored, thin, loose beige head. Chocolatey, herbal, slightly medicinal, piney aroma. Smooth palate. Chocolatey, ar first, then note of rye or pumpernickel bread. it reminds me of dark toast. Very slightly sweet finish. Very enjoyable. Thanks to theisti for the trade!
