Deep gold, almost brassy in color, with a sustained white head. It has a soft bowl of fruit aroma with honey sweet malt in the background. The flavor if sull of a candy-like sweetness but stops short of becoming cloying. Just a light touch of noticeable hops. This would make a decent Summer drink.

Light amber color with white, foamy head. Nice aroma...lots of malt. Flavor is very malty and fairly sweet. A hint of hops and fruit...apricot? A little watery, but I liked it.

Bottle... Clear, deep golden ale with a small, fizzy, white head. Malty, buttery nose. Sweet, toffee, butterscotch flavor with moderate bitterness. Medium-bodied with a milky mouthfeel and fizzy carbonation. Short, mildly sweet (but crisp) finish. Kudos to vyvvy for the bottle!

Pours with a rich, copper body holding moderate carbonation and a staunch head... I wouldn’t dub this "gold" as that moniker would position it closer to yellow than orange and that simply isn’t the case. After splitting hairs, I find the aroma to have a candied-fruit quality, with notes of banana taffy alongside some sweet, honey-touched cereal grains. Quite nice, actually. Mildly nutty flavor with sweet grainy notes that take their cues from the aroma. Full, thick mouth. Light hints of fruit, grain & alcohol linger with an ever-so-slight touch of bitterness adding a clean finish. I am totally impressed by such a great effort from what should be a fairly simple beer!

22oz bomber. Filtered and clear. Golden hue. Spiral white head. Aromas of grainy and sweet malts. Lightly roasted. Medium bodied with a grainy crispness. Slight sweet caramel note. Subtle fruity esters. Nice fruity yeast flavor. Crisp smooth and easy. Slight sugary malt flavor. Off-dry finish with a citrusy slightly spicy hop flavor.

Bottle. Pours a yellow gold color with pretty much no head. Fruit and funk on the nose. Flavor is apples and beer. Very watery as whatever flavor there is is spread way too thin. You might as well have a nice cold glass of water. Thanks to tjthresh for the bottle.

What a beer to have as your flagship. For a brewery as uneven as O’Fallon it shouldn’t catch me by too much of a surprise. Pours golden with an off-white head. The aroma has quite a bit of pale malt, light butter, light skunk and some spice. Medium body with sharp carbonation. Starts with elements from the aroma along with some dirty mustiness. The finish has some spicy hops aspects, other than that it is more of the same. Drinkable, but that is about it.
