12 oz bottle
Medium pour in a goblet
Recent bottling, prospected 11/06
Poured a clear dirty gold (orange and brown tints on yellow) with a white fizzy quickly diminishing head.
Smelt of light perfume and grass hops with light malt tones.
Taste was upfront light bittersweet biscuit and perfume hops followed by a light bitter dirty grain on a short finish. Palate was light bodied, watery and fizzy.
Overall, its too watery and simple to be sipped on and enjoyed. I’m disappointed I had to get a glass dirty for this one. A tasty summer quencher straight out of the bottle, at best. thedm (3836), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Nov 18, 2006 This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a medium sized head of foamy fine to medium sized white colored bubbles that were mostly lasting and left behind a slightly hazy softly carbonated orange brown colored body. The aroma was malty and dough. The crisp semi-thick mouth feel was tingly at the start with a mellow finish. The flavor contained notes of malt hops and dough. An OK brew just nothing special. hotstuff (3183), Indiana, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Nov 4, 2006 Bottle. Poured a white small fizzy head that mostly diminished with virtually no lacing, transparent, minimal carbonation, and a golden hue. Nose was fruity, spicy note, sweet, and mildly hoppy. Flavor was sweet, malty and fruity. Tingly mouthfeel and light-medium body. Not one that I would go to the ends of the earth to get. wxman (592), O’Fallon, Illinois, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Oct 28, 2006 Pours a dark golden color with a decent white head that fades quickly, but still remains. Sweet aroma with some hoppiness. Smooth, sweet malt taste along with mild hop flavor without any bitterness. Inoffensive and likeable, but not assertive or memorable. jpm30 (1588), East Central, Georgia, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Aug 10, 2006 From a 12 oz. long neck brown bottle with no bottled/freshness date, purchased refrigerated and kept refrigerated.
Poured a reddish hued golden with a foamy white head that settled into a fine lacing.
The kolsch yeast gives it kolsch-like aromas, fruity and floral, a little earthy grassiness, grainy with a touch of honey.
Good carbonation at first, but quickly fizzes out to low carbonation, a softly crisp and smooth lightish medium bodied mouthfeel.
Once again, the kolsch yeast gives a lager-like taste, fruity, earthy hops that are very soft in it’s bitterness, a touch of cereal grains, a light honey breadiness towards the end and a sweet fruity and malty finish, not bad, but average drinkability for a blonde ale.
Not great, but not bad either, went down well on this humid, thunderstorm ridden St. Louis day.

I’ve had a few better in this category but this was very nice. Worth looking into. kwoeltje (1333), Manchester, Missouri, USA

Faint cereal aroma with a little grassiness. Slightly sweet malt flavor with a hint of fruit in the finish. BBB63 (4274), La Porte, Indiana, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Jun 16, 2006 12 ounce bottle and served in a standard pint glass: Pours a clean golden hue topped by a small but lasting head and minimal lace. The aroma has notes of grassy and herbal hops, biscuity and grainy malt, note of dry yeast and some apple ester. The taste is a straight forward blend of sweeter malt and light acidic twang with only a dash of bitters. Notes of grain and yeast throughout on the palate. The mouth feel is a tad lively and sprite, a gummy aftertaste. Okay quaffable brew.
