Pours is a deep dark brown with a small head. Aroma is nice and toasty. Flavor is sweet coffee and loads of raisons. A over all very roasty and smoky brew. Bravo! This is a excellent seasonal from a local brewer.

Bottled. Chestnut brown with small head. Big coffee aroma. Medium bodied with sharp mouthfeel and a lingering flavour of coffee with loads of cream. Low bitterness.

Clear brown in color, small white head that doesn’t last, sweet roasty nutty aroma. Nice roasted malty nutty flavors, medium body, light but creamy mouthfeel, nice lasting finish, a little light but has some good flavor.

There are quite a few "holiday" beers offered this time of year and this one is excellent. Dark with not much head retention, smooth and chocolatey and a mild bittersweet finish. Reminds me some of Huber Bock, which I could drink all night long. Really nice cool weather beer.
