MrChopin (621), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA Oct 20, 2009 Grapefruit-gold colored with a thin white head. Nose is quite grainy, some corn and light bitterness comes with very light cinnamon cookies, hints of pumpkin spice growing with warmth. Flavor is strongly cinnamon but nicely controlled, also hints of sugar and cookie. Decent finish, but way thin and watery. While there is little going on here, it is still rather enjoyable. wheelz843 (203), Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA Oct 19, 2009 bottle. pours a thick, cloudy copper with little head. has a bitter aroma with hints of pumpkin.flavor is a bit bitter at first but has a very nice warm, pumpkin spice finish. iamqueensblvd (178), , Iowa, USA Oct 19, 2009 nice notes of pumpkin and pie crust on the nose. dark amber pour with a frothy off white head. absolutely delicious pumpkin flavor with a nice clove/nutmeg spice and a little sweetness. i am going to over rate this beer. dont konw if i could drink a whole six pack but one is absolutely delicious. smooth mouthfeel. great pumpkin sweetness lingering on the palate. Onslow (174), Kalamazoo, Michigan, USA Oct 11, 2009 Coppery amber pour. Mild but peasant aroma with hints of pumpkin and spice. Not much going on in the flavor department - a bit of malt sweety at the start, a bit of spice in the finish, maybe a bit of pumpkin (or maybe that’s just the power of suggestion...) Finish is weak with a little spice and maybe a bit of hops. Inoffensive. Thin palate. However, nothing bad in there at all - what flavor there is is all fine. Ho-hum.
