Sweetened pumpkin soufflé, maple hazelnuts, ginger, cloves, nutmeg and a cardamom cola trait pipe through the nose with balance and succinctness. Flavor drops down a notch to emit a ginger, nutmeg and cinnamon spiced seltzer water with a touch of brown sugar glazed pumpkin core. Modest carbonation moderately hides a strong pils malt base, and the mouthfeel comes up light bodied and lacking. Cinnamon dust meets a pumpkin sweetened corn flake and gets washed away with diluted caramel and ginger. kseecs16 (914), Naperville, Illinois, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Nov 9, 2007 Bottle. Poured out orange hued amber with minimal off-white head, no lacing. A faint pumpkin smell, some sweetness. An unfortunate stale vegetable flavor with little pumpkin coming to the fore. Some dry malts aand a light carbonated feel. Disappointing. | 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Oct 31, 2007 12 oz bottle. Hazy orange color, lots of carbonation. HUGE yellowy-beige head. I couldn’t get half the bottle in a 16 oz glass! Nose is mild cookie, pumpkin, a touch of nutmeg and a light peach. Pretty thin body, nice sheet of lace. The carbonation bounces around the tongue, but where is the flavor? Very weak pumpkin and light spices (nutmeg and clove). Would’ve rated this higher if it was a bit bolder. Eh - another forgettable seasonal. Hudspart (374), Hudsonville, Michigan, USA

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Oct 21, 2007 bottle. Foggy pumpkin colored appearance. Sweet malt flavor with crappy pumpkin taste added in. Too tart in the finish. A bit heavier than other pumpkins I’ve tried. ubamartian (155), Watertown, Wisconsin, USA

The flavor is dominated by the spices, finishing with a pumpkin taste. Light feeling in the mouth, very smooth and drinkable. A very dcent pumpkin beer.

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 16, 2007 Rich cloudy glowing orange color with a small white head. Nutmeg, spices and such are slightly mild in this pumpkin beer and also a bit light and lemony in flavor too. Somewhat thin mouthfeel. Very smooth and easy drinking however, and a decent pumpkin beer in all.
